Spandau Ballet, one of the most successful British bands of all time, becomes ready to revolutionize the personal. The five members of the original lineup of the '80s came together after 20 years, after the delay of his concert announced for November 2009, and already confirmed the dates of the passage of his tour that will stop in our country, only two confirmed dates on March 12 at the Palau Olimpic de Badalona, Barcelona and 15 March at the Palacio de Madrid Vistalegre. Emerging from the Blitz Club in Soho in 1979 during another economic downturn, Spandau formed in a north London school and became the band without coolest label on the planet. Not only their albums were a success, but their look and style hit and marked trend in the world of fashion. They created their own style by combining creativity and enterprising spirit of "I can do" which was adopted by the younger generation of working-class 80's in times of crisis. Tony Hadley, John Keeble, Gary Kemp, Martin Kemp and Steve Norman, we are transported back to his best synth pop and dance, going through his greatest hits. From working-class Londoner obsessed by underground, fashion and music of the moment, until the stars overall, Spandau Ballet defined the way, the style and sound that marked the '80s. On his return to the stage, will have singles like "To Cut A Long Story Short" and "Chant No. 1 (I Do not Need This Pressure On)", and no shortage of mythic themes such as "True" and "Gold" . With over 25 million records sold and six multi-platinum albums, the band will play their best hits again. Spandau Ballet are big business both as a cultural level and are willing to assert their style, and what better way than launching a world tour? Back to the 80's. The group's saxophonist, Steve Norman, has given a suit of the collection of the Parade tour in 1984, to be auctioned. Another piece that is auctioned is a pick that you used the guitar and songwriter, Gary Kemp, at a concert in the BBC Radio 2 last fall, coinciding with the return of the group on stage, after twenty years of inactivity as a whole. The other parts are posters, posters, books, souvenirs and official merchandising history of the band, some of them signed by its members-who were part of private collections of fans of the group and have been donating to this cause, or that have been donated by organizations such as the cultural center The Stables, Milton, or shop on-line Mandolinmusic. The initiative is open to more items donated by fans and will continue raising money to send the Red Cross throughout the month of March. Spandau Ballet is comprised of five components (Tony Hadley, Steve Norman, Gary Kemp, John Keeble and Martin Kemp) and was born in 1979 in London.
